"There is no substitute for one-to-one advice from aÌýtop medical expert and that's what we offer our callers and emailers. But for each person who calls to ask for help, someone else phones in to pass on a tip or a suggestion -Ìýit's a great programme to present."

Sun Damage
Sun damages the skin.
Whether you’re on holiday in a hot country or just walking around outside in the summer, sun can cause wrinkles, flat brown spots and freckling.
But how can you tell if any changes are a sign of skin cancer?
Apart from staying out of the sun altogether, what can you do about existing damage?
Who is most at risk?
Will putting on sun cream save you?Ìý
If you do have skin cancer, howÌýdo you treat it?
Barbara Myers puts your questions about sun damage to the skin to Professor Rino Cerio, Consultant Dermatologist at St Barts and London NHS Trust.
Please contact the programme with your questions or comments on 08700-100-444 on the day of broadcast or e-mail using the Contact Check Up link above.
