"There is no substitute for one-to-one advice from aÌýtop medical expert and that's what we offer our callers and emailers. But for each person who calls to ask for help, someone else phones in to pass on a tip or a suggestion -Ìýit's a great programme to present."

Fertility
Fears about infertility never seem to be absent from the headlines these days, from the possible harmful effects of IVF drugs to the shortage of sperm donors.
Fertility declines with age, and at the same time, the number of women over 40 seeking fertility treatment is increasing.
So what are the risks for women who leave starting a family till their late thirties or forties? And what are the options for these women when seeking help with having a baby?
When should couples seek treatment? And what might they expect?
Barbara Myers will be joined by Dr Gillian Lockwood, Medical Director of Midland Fertility Services.
