Mark Grantham, Grant Sonnex and Adam Rowlands at the RSPB's Minsmere reserve in Suffolk |
Nature: Spring Songbird Special
As part of the 91Èȱ¬'s Springwatch event, this edition of Nature comes from one of this country's premier birdsong venues - the RSPB's reserve at Minsmere in Suffolk.Ìý Among the reed beds and woodlands, Grant Sonnex gets close to some of our best songbirds to revel in their song.
Focusing on the migrant birds like nightingale, white throat, willow warbler, sedge warbler and reed warbler, Adam Rowlands of the RSPB and Mark Grantham of the British Trust for Ornithology help capture some wonderful recordings and fill us in on the lives that the birds lead before they fill the spring air with song.
On ourÌýblog you can read about how we recorded the birds and download some of our favourites. |
