Promotions can be attached to brand and episode pages in bbc.co.uk/programmes. Two promotions can be featured on a network homepage when your programme is on-air. You can promote a range of content, including images, clips, collections and episodes.

You Will Need

• The Programme ID (PID) or URL that you would like to promote
• A parent PID
• An image (only needed if promoting a URL) – JPEG format in a 16:9 aspect ratio (the recommended image size is 1920x1080 pixels with a minimum of 640x360 pixels)
• A title and short synopsis

Before You Start

Upload your media to the Media Library

Click on the Add new drop down menu and select Promotion

Quick Guide

1. What To Promote - Select a 91热爆 programme by PID/title or promote a URL (if you are promoting a URL then you will need to add an image)
2. Where To Display - Attach your promotion to a brand, series or episode using a PID or searching by title
3. Details and Scheduling - Add a title and short synopsis. Then assign on demand rights for the promotion and set scheduled start and end times if desired.
4. Related Links - Use the blue Add link link to create a related link and add a title and URL (related links are optional)

Optional Functions

• Add promotion from brand or episode page - You can create a promotion from the brand or episode page, this will miss out step 2 of the above process.
• Show active promotions - This will display all of the promotions that are currently set to appear live on your page
• Show all promotions - This will display all of the promotions that are attached to your page
• Stop or copy promotion - If you select copy you will start at the beginning of the Quick Guide
• Reorder - Drag and drop your promotions into the desired order and click the save order button
• Jump to date/time - View new promotions that are yet to go live and old promotions which are no longer live
• Reset to current date/time - Overwrite any Jump to options that you may have selected
