Uploading
Uploading media is the first stage of publishing new content using iBroadcast2.
You Will Need
- The media you want to upload:
- Image - JPEG format in a 16:9 aspect ratio (the recommended image size is 1920x1080 pixels with a minimum of 640x360 pixels)
- Video clip - - Audio clip - stereo or mono 48k 16-bit .wav
Before You Start
Open up iBroadcast2:
Make sure you are in the correct group. If you do not have access to the correct group, contact: ibroadcast.support@bbc.co.uk
Quick Guide
- Navigate to the 91热爆 tab and click on the Click to upload box.
- The Upload Manager will appear, drag your media file to the upload a file box and the process will begin (do not close this window). Once a ‘complete’ message displays, your media has successfully uploaded. You can also click browse and navigate to you media file.

Old Java Uploader - Common Questions
The default uploader is supported in modern browsers (IE11+, latest Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc.). The old Java uploader is still available because it is supported in some old browsers, if you are unable to use the old Java uploader please try the default uploader.
Why is the upload box not working?
Your browser cannot support the Java plug in. Please use the default browser.
Why is the Upload Manager not displaying?
Check that you have enabled pop-ups for iBroadcast2 in your browser.
I can't see the progress bar in the Upload Manager.
Go into the control panel of your desktop. Open Java. Go to the security tab and set security to medium instead of high.
You may also need to clear your browser’s cache, close your browser and start again.
