Most of our sites are built around an on air broadcast or event. However sometimes we need to make a site for a campaign or offer which doesn’t have a direct link to a broadcast or a series of broadcasts. For these offers you can create a site using iSite article pages. They don’t have to be linked to a PID and by using the Branding tool you can ensure the site looks and acts like a site in itself.

You Will Need

• Access to the branding tool
• Access to a programmes project group in iSite . If you do not have access to the correct group, please contact R&M.Support@bbc.co.uk

Quick Guide

1. Create New Article Page - Create a destination page by creating a new article page as instructed in the . Make note of the page URL (you can find this before you publish in the preview window.)
   
2. Set Destination and Branding - In a new branding tool project create a new theme using Select . Select Default as your Theme type. Enter your site name in the Masthead Title field. Enter the URL for your article page in the 91热爆 Url Link field.
3. Create Nav - There is no default navigation for your pages so you will have to create your navigation. Create a navigation featuring your destination page as described in the .
4. Add branding ID to article page - Take note of the Branding ID. Go back into your article page in iSite2. Enter the branding ID into the Branding ID field.
5. Adding additional pages - You can now create more article pages by following the . Ensure you add the Branding ID to each of them.
6. Adding to your Nav bar - There are no default links on your navigation bar so if you want to link to an article page from your navigation bar you will need to add more links in the branding tool. Follow the to learn how to add more links.

It is worth noting that these pages will not appear on any other pages automatically and are not searchable in 91热爆 search. So you will need to promote these sites in appropriate places across your site.
