Image Box

Article pages are made up of different content blocks. An image box is used for displaying a single image, with optional title and caption.

You Will Need

  • Image Form Name - This is to help you find your page in iSite2, it will not be displayed.
  • Image PID - Your image will need to have been published in iBroadcast2: .

Before You Start

Go to iSite2 and select the project you want to work on. If you do not have access to the correct group, please contact R&M.Support@bbc.co.uk.

Quick Guide

  1. Create An Image Block - If you are in an Article Page, click the blue create new link below Primary or Secondary Content and select Content - Image Box. Alternatively, navigate to the Project Dashboard tab and click the blue create new link by Content - Image Box.
  2. Add Metadata - Give your image box a useful name that you can easily find in iSite2.
  3. Add image PID - Enter the Image PID or click the blue browse iBroadcast link to search for an image in the Media Library.
  4. Publish - Click the orange save button and then click the green publish button. If you don't publish now you will be prompted when you publish your article or profile page.
    You can preview how your Image Box looks from the article page in iSite2. .

Optional Functions

  • Add Title - You can give your image an optional Title to be displayed at the top of the content block.
  • Add Caption- You can add an optional Image caption, this will display beneath the image.

How do I add more images?

You can not have more than one image per Image Box.

If you will to have multiple images either and pull it into a or create another Image Box.
