Ruthodanort: do I hear "you are my sunshine" playing in the background? Or is it "I never promised you a rose garden"? By the way, why can't Herman use his own computer? Still in the box or have they not installed electricity etc on Muness yet?

if I come up to see you lot in the far north - look out cos I HATE MAGNOLIA and I'll bring some bold blue and green paint with me. sunny yellow. firey red. earthy brown. midnight black. whats wrong wi salmon pink, biscuit beige, red onion, olive green, etc? (I feel a competition coming on...)

Muness? why would Herman need anything at Muness? think you're confused mjc. He's quite capable of using his own pewter. but i admit he did a spot of hoose sitting for me when i was Swanning aboot in Norway. and of coorse, had full access to my pewter. (after he cracked the code). mind you, i had to de-pox the hoose on my return. thankfully no one else has caught the bug so i must've done a good job at the decontamination.

Confused, doubtless. I keep thinking Herman just might be the Fetlar Blogger at Muness views, though, as I indicated elsewhere, he would more likely make his new abode in Unst. From what Herman wrote he is leaving Orkney and closing down his blog, and the mysterious Fetlar blogger appeared at the same time. Coincidence, coincidence. I thought that perhaps Unst did not have a large enough broch to use up his left over Magnolia paint, and Fetlar is "next door."
