I hope that photo is one from the archives MV and not an up to date one... That apple is quite impressive - does the polytunnel cover the tree all the time or just in the winter? I didn't know you could grow trees in a polytunnel.

Wel MV you should think about moving to a warmer climate, Sofala at its extreme 14minus c. The problem is that wet stuff(rain) is not predictable(24inch), You have no need of weelies out here. Just started into spring, enjoy winter.Regards.

Judging by last week's Shetland Times, that is just possibly NOT an archive photo!
Flying Cat from what happened to Autumn?
Photo taken outside the school at 1:10pm on Saturady 4th October. We got off light compared to other parts of Shetland.

well I was lovely and cosy on the 4th - it was a raging blizzard (ok, thats an exaggeration...) but I was inside watching Jean Christophe Nouvelle (apparently famous on TV) giving a seafood demo at the Clickimin Centre - now thats a sight for cold feet, or sore eyes, or whatever... what did he cook ... can't remember....

We softies down here don't know we're living! I didn't realise you had had such bad weather already. Truly your summer is very short, no wonder you need a polytunnel. Thanks MV.
