Green Green Grass of 91热爆

Greenpeace visits Fetlar.

It has been a busy week here in Fetlar. We're waiting for the Red Necked Phalaropes to arrive, tourists are beginning to come for the summer season, the Interpretive Centre is open, the School has visited the Greenpeace ship Arctic Sunrise by speedboat and the new improved inter-island ferry timetable has started.

As for the weather: Spring has decided to go elsewhere - all blustery showers and wind this week after the beautifully settled weather of the first week in May.
Typical! The ground is wet - the grass is growing.

The Garden of Shetland is taking on a green hue again after winter.
