Why should there be a law against you working on your birthday? Does this imply that you actually do work on the other days at Fetlar Academy??

Isn't it only queens that get two birthdays?

Happy birthday to you squashed tomatoes and stew, bread and butter in the gutter, happy birthday to you. Better late than never. Enjoy the weekend, if you can.

A ( debatably ) wise man once said, "There is an age beyond which it is unreasonable to expect other people to pay great attention to one's birthday. This normally occurs at about 11 years."

Some of us have had no McCrone time this week due to poor weather. I seem to remeber someone called Far North who used to have 80% of Wednesdays off. Trips to Alicante too! You have trod on a nerve here. Anyway, where's my birthday card?

Consort did remember birthday card - or rather that she hadn't sent one. But we we may wait for the official birthday in summer. I assume that there will be a 21-gun salute on Fetlar on that day.

Cleaned Magnolia View this weekend. Took hours. There are now beds for guests to sleep in that you can get access to.

Aaah, do Consort & I have a invite or do we have to wait for the personally signed document send by Royal courier. Did cleaning out the house also involve the shampooing of the red carpet for us? It's almost the anniversary of the ring quest as well.

Could Fetlar cope Soljey? I'm taking to my bed just thinking about it.
