Commentsweather horrible here too. mood horrible too. rain, rain, and more rain. wind, wind and more wind. have superglued false eyelashes and boobs in place. all outings are cancelled - have taken to gin. dogs and cats confined to quarters, humans have to do housework. heard on the news a house in Yell has had its roof blown off. also heard on the news an inch of water has fallen - good grief is that an inch - its torrential - must be at least a foot. Our road has washed away, and the ditches and burns can't cope. I can't cope either - hope gin doesn't run out...

All catflappery cancelled Thurs. Forced to use uninteresting but hygeinic tray. Fpu rescued by Old Diesel from the metropolis, including interestingly soddden foray through extempore extension of Peedie Sea. No water ingress except round Door of Catflap, replacing of which has moved up the list of Things To Do - Eventually. Garage door prevented from flinging itself open by cunning use of Large Bag of Dung (thanks Megan and ponies). I have nothing much to do, but small car needs retrieving from Library carpark where it was abandoned in a fit of pusillanimity. Must go and patrol the Rolling Acres. Gumboots for Moggies!
