We're Here!

We have entered the blogosphere. The only thing that the school website won't let us create is a blog so our teacher thought we'd start one here. Blog postings may be frequent or they may be few and far between as each pupil is going to have a go.
Whatever happens will appear on the blog. So many other schools in the Northern Isles are blogging so we thought we'd join in. We think that we are the first school in Shetland to have a 91Èȱ¬ blog, though.
Our website is listed at the side.
If you don't know where we are you can take a virtual tour of the island from our school website.
Bye for now.

I go to Fetlar school. It is small.
The car park is medium sized. It takes 10 to 15 cars.
There is a gate which leads to the front door.
There are lots of fields on Fetlar.
In the school there is an office, a classroom and a dining room.

My Highlights on the farm!
Posted: Wednesday, 28 February 2007 |
I arrived there about half 12, sat and watched TV, for about half an hour- at the time Aunty & Uncle were at da barn.
At about 1 o’clock they came up tae da house. We had lunch, we had beans ‘n’ nuggets. Aunty and I halved a pork pie-it was good!!!!
At about half 1 two other people came in and we went down to the barn. We had a look at the baby calf, herded the cattle and the baby calves. Then we went home.
Then it was time for getting rid of the old hay and takin’ in da new hay. I dumped all of the old hay into the midden.
After that Uncle put a new bale in the barn with da tractor. We forked the new bale into the feeder, put vitamins in the hay and went and had dinner.
