Hello, welcome to Island Blogging! It's great to have so many schools joining us!
Anne from IBHQ
Hey there! My name is Becca and I'm a Freshman in highschool. I'm doing a reasearch paper on Skye. I was wondering if you guys could tell me a few things about the island from an islander's point of veiw. Any interesting information you could give me would be gratefully recieved! From what I've learned so far I can already see that Skye is an awsome place to be; however, from the limeted sources I have (a few books and websites) I feel like I'm only hearing half the story. I would love to have your input!=) ~Becca

Becca - We're not Skye. If you click on the Argyll & Clyde link from the island blogging main page you'll find Skye. I've been there its very nice. It has many trees (we don't have those).
Fetlar School from Fetlar
Becca, did you realise that Fetlar isn't in Skye? If you click on the western isles you will find Skye. Fetlar looks nice though!

FS: Skye in the Argyll & Clyde area indeed! I think you may be confusing it with Ailsa Craig.

A-ha - another Fetlar blog! Feel I must point out to those who don't know that the picture on this blog shows Leagarth House & not the school. You can find out more by taking the school's unique virtual tour of the island via the school website: http://www.fetlar.shetland.sch.uk/TheFetlarTour.shtml

My wife and I really enjoy looking at your pictures on the school web site especially. And now you have your own blog too. Well done and enjoy using this wonderful facility.
