CHRISTMAS!

Two of our cast of 24!

A school of 3 putting on a 24 part Nativity play? Hmmn! How could we do that?

Simple: send the staff to Lerwick to buy wooden spoons. 24 wooden spoons to be exact! Then paint them, dress them & act with them. Film the whole thing and dragoon people in the community to be the voices.

Also write the play yourself.

Such fun! The CHRISTMAS season is almost here.

PS: Thanks to all those requesting calendars. We're sending them out now.

Enterprise Total

We're doing well with our Enterprise this year. The sales of the Timetables, Calendars, Postcards & Bookmarks have now totalled 拢770.

Our display stand.

We're using the money to pay for a school trip to the (dare we say it) UK mainland next year.

The timetable.

Bleak Midwinter?

The scene outside the school at 3:35 today:

Is this snow?

Its warm inside the building though.

PS: We've received a commission to make a 2008 Shetland Calendar. We've been choosing the photographs today.

William Wallace

We're trying to make a life size William Wallace as part of our Scottish History topic. This is the head at the moment.

Wallace

We're doing really well at the moment, as its St Andrew's Day and none of the pupils has said the word "Christmas" more than 7 times. Xmas Chaos will begin in the Fetlar School from December 10th.
