looks to me strangely like a Nativity scene ...? through a barn window ...? Would I be right ...?!
soaplady from paying attention ...
It's a hand inside a duster cleaning a window. or is it a dish towel hanging on a mop. or is it the Queen in a headscarf getting ready to go horse riding. or is it Mary in Nativity with her back to the window looking at the baby Jesus in the manger. Oooooo, come on Fetlar School, tell us more. You're driving us all crazy.

So long children (IBHQ is closing down). Have a wonderful life, each and every one of you (of you two, then three)?

With the imminent demise of IB the SF is really going great guns. I do very much hope that this community of crack-pots and weirdos will continue to meet somewhere in cyberspace. But just in case it doesn't, a special thank you to Flotta and Fetlar pupils for their great contributions. And a big hand for Carol who has been wrestling with the technology with little thanks and much outpourings. Remember the motto of St. Andrew: "Dum spiro spero" (While I breath, I hope". Go for it, everyone!

St. Andrew and his Latinate thoughts: did you know that, in his acceptance speech, Obama, referring to Americans, particularly in face of adversity, said "as we breathe, we hope"? I thought it was a nice turn of phrase, silently laudedhis speech writer and was hoping for more good ones in the next few years, but did not know about its source in St. Andrew. Thanks, mate.

Good point, Mjc. I will recommend the Borough of St. Andrews to sue Obama for breach of trade mark, and land fat damages or royalty to complete the recently proposed Instute of Neisach Studies.
