By the time you get in finnished, their sentences will be over, although I like the look of the guard. Not in a bad way, but the fierceness of his demeaner looks good.
Tws from The Stockaid
But yours has not yet begun Tws... Could I just take this chancitunity to thank you, barabraes, for your kind offer of assistance in the capture and incarceration of the villainous aforemantioned person. We look forward to seeing him in bars...
Flying Cat from smug mode
What sort of dog is Hooch?

You'll never take me alive FC! Not the smartest of comments to make, but hey it's friday afternoon, so this comment won't be seen until wednesday at the earliest, and I won't be here.....

Hah! (on Anne's behalf)
Flying Cat from nyahnyahnyah
"Now be honest have you ever seen a cat impale a bear with what looked like a screwdriver bit?" Barebraes # No, I have not seen it, but I can easily imagine it. The powers of any cat that can fly should not be underestimated. # What's the use of a fortress to house felons, Barebraes, if (cf. pic 3) you provide a ladder, and also Hooch to guide him/it/them to the ferry?! Not something the warden of THE Tower would approve.

Hah! Yerself, and yer trumpets oot o' tune. This one will never see light of day 'til thursday afternoon, maybe???
Tws from Trying Again
your right barebraes, locking up tws, getofftheand mjc(if he continues his cuurent form) would be just fine by me
carol from back from the hairdressers
mjc's not against us really Carol...it's more...he takes a balanced and possibly slightly jaundiced view of all this silliness, so I have decided to be very very serious from now on - an upright catizen...like a certain lighthouse...unbending in the face of humour. Or possibly, humor. Hah!Hah!Hah! Tws. (sorry for cluttering up your very interesting blog barebraes...here's to better building weather) HAH!!!
Flying Cat from serimously yours
Forget it, Carol. I am as spotless as Windsor castle linen. No need to chastize me because I tell it like it is, let the malodorous chips fall where they will. # I just wired the latest (and, thank heavens, last) instalment to the treasurer of younger daughter's College/Uni. of her choice, and I feel/am literally relieved. Americans studying in the UK pay through the nose - more than ten times what natives pay, whereas UK citizens studying in the US usually get scholarships. Oh well, freedom of choice and all that. Oxford provides a decent education, I am told, and doubtless a better one than some other places I could name (Cambridge being one, eh?!). To think that she could have chosen excellent institutions in the US and elsewhere which offered her significant merit scholarships, and turned them down, should be enough to make me turn to drink: I would too, but I can't afford drinks any longer. Not Pellegrino even (well, maybe Pellegrino diluted with tap water): back to Marvel creamer for yours truly. Such is the sad story of American parents who put a value on education, and whose children are at home on foreign shores....

Hooch is a French Mastiff Alix or if in France a Dogue de Bordeaux. Tws we need you alive to torture the truth out of you HA HA

The gallows are being built as we speak, we have had to disguise them as a temporary tower for the water tank till we get the roof on. It seems to be very quiet from the TWS front at the moment does it not, has he gone into hidding?
Barebraes from Shapinsay
MJC : you shock me!! what about sending your daughter to france?? Montpellier is the second oldest uni in europe--heidleberg is the the oldest-mtp is really a great uni-loads of great courses and a really beautiful city---my god am I really sayng something positive about france???
me from here
You'll look back on it with la nostalgie once you're gone away...it's part of the human condition...'you don't know what you've got til its gone, see Paradise'...
Flying Cat from Paradiso del mundo
Where daughter goes after she gets her MBiochem. next year is up to her, and her ability to get scholarships/ fellowships. We are finished with the heavy lifting, Dieu merci. Montpellier would be wonderful, but daughter's French is as elementary as George W.'s Spanish, though, give it to the girl, her German is fluent. # Barebraes, I think TWS said he was off somewhere for a few days.
mjc from NM, USA
she'll soon pick it up,mjc even i learnt the lingo
carol from the usual place
la nostalgie, FC? Nostalgie de la boue, peut-etre? # Say, I am getting to like the new French Foreign Minister, aka Ministre Sans Frontieres.
mjc from NM, USA
I'm sure that I commented here already, but I could be wrong, HA, that'll be the day eh, me being wrong? Oh look there's a flying pig, just there. I'm getting perplexed, who is going where? Oh and Why? Is FC really in Paradise? Where is Paradise? Oh I think that was the postie, better go, thanks for the coffee, I'll bring some Hob Nobs with me next time....
Tws from The Spam Factory
Paradise is right here in Rolling Acres.

Flying Cat from my pavior liveth
What on earth were you doing in the hospital, Carol? Or did you merely take someone there? # And why would FC need paving, pray tell? He is not off to demonstrations again now, is he?
mjc from NM, USA
don't all panic! no i wasn't giving birth, nor in the loony bin! had a load of tests on my back mri scan well i think in english its mri or rim? over here its irm and these nice men in white coats have decided i've to stop playing the fool and get the hernias operated on,but either they do it now and no way can i fly so far in two months or as soon as i get back get it done then sell up etc! 3 of the discs in my back are still (hernie discals, over here) and even though i have intensive physio/osteo have to make the big decision:nothing serious but it p****s me off!
carol from over here
mjc: thought of the song by joni mitchell "theyve paved paradise and put up a parking lot" sorry old age
carol from over here
...errrrm...I think that's what I was referring to several comments back...
Flying Cat from don't it always seem to go...
I think it's a shame you are threatening villains with "Hooch the Merciless". I remember him when he was "Hooch the Lovable" if you could tolerate it "snowing" when he shook his head.

Hi There Danaher Nice to hear from an ex Hooch appreciation volunteer. Hows it going at the centre? would love to hear from you all again Can supply email address and more pics of the Hooch if you like . Take care from Paul and Me
Barebraes from Shapinsay
Hello Barebraes I'ts going very well, the fund raising has been so successful new kennel blocks are springing up everywhere. Paul may be interested to know that Becky and Gen have both moved on. Hooch has been replaced by "Sid the Saintly" an American Bulldog with a terrific personality. Plays football better than Pele. We are keeping an eye on you and are so pleased to see how well you are adapting to life in Orkney. Best wishes Volunteer P.S. Please give Hooch a hug.

Hi Barebraes, you should see how Mrs Fred drives her hubby. You could learn a thing or two from her, methinks. Her driving whip would make someone even as hardened to Viking gore as Hermit blanch. Her motto? To adapt an old Jewish saw: "The impossible Fred does right away, miracles take a little longer."
mjc from NM, USA
The difference is barely discernable.
Flying Cat from right said fred...
Just in passing...I tried to use your links at the side but they're not 'live'. (I'm mostly too lazy to type it all in) Did you see Ruth's 'idiot's guide'? I used it and hey presto...or safeway...or somerfield...it worked!

I will surely try to rectify the porb Fc thanks for the inside info :)
