I know it's probably too late but we have a bit aof a crisis. The Celdhi Band that usually play on Hogmany can't make it this year!!! No band, no Celdhi!!!! We've been rining round but every band is booked! I don't suppose anyone knows of a Celdhi band that would want to play Corrie Hall, Arran? It's the best Hogmany in the world... if there's a band. If you know anyone at all or even a caller & we will just have to play CD's but it's not the same. If you know anyone please, please let me know. We will pay of course and there's accomodation!

Hope you find a band, you've still got some time. 2 years ago the Isle of Eigg had to do without a band at Hogmanay due to the Lochnevis being cancelled, I think it was a force 10. What a calamity, but as soon as conditions allowed the band that had played on Rum and survived (the Squashy Bag band) heroically made their way over and New Year was brought in a day or two late, but in fine style.
