So I'd made my mind up - I was bringing my niece up for the Christmas Disco on Saturday, when the text arrived on my mobile - LOTR, Return of the King on Saturday..... Decisions Decisions. I've promised my niece a trip up to Lismore, I've promised PNA that I won't go and see LOTR before Christmas. So the question is - do I honour my promises or do I ensure that I take both my niece and PNA to the cinema on Saturday for LOTR and then back for the tail end of the Disco, or do I just take them both to the disco. Answers on a postcard to the usual address........

Okay found the cards that I wrote a fortnight ago - have already bought and sent new ones. I've got the presents all wrapped, and I've persuaded Beth and Deirdre to let me wrap all their presents. Trying hard to persuade Duncan and Dave to bring their pressies down for me to wrap......



The school kids are doing the Christmas post this year, and I managed to let the family know the day after they posted cards to the island! (Brownie points deducted for that I can tell you). The youth club are putting out a "Communal Christmas Card" to raise funds. It's an great idea Ina had, who in turn told Beth, who in turn brought it into fruition.
