So here I am at the very North end of Vancouver Island at a place called Port Hardy. Within 10 minutes of checking into our overnight accommodation, we saw two eagles flying outside our window. We're hoping to be just as lucky at spotting whales tomorrow as we journey up the Inside Passage from Port Hardy to Prince Rupert.

We met up with Young Peter MacDougall at Vancouver Airport, Peter landed about 80 minutes before we did. He's looking well and I think meeting us made him homesick for the second time in his life. Still he's only a couple of months before he returns from his planet wanderings and comes home again to the island.

Victoria saw us in the middle of a Dragon Boat Festival. Its the festival's 10th year, and is one of the biggest races in "North America" all proceeds go to breast cancer, and many of the teams are made up from breast cancer survivors.

Okay - that's it for now, I do hope that its stopped raining over there. I won't bore you with how gorgeous it is here.
