26 important things we learned about Lady Gaga when she visited Radio 1 Breakfast

is BACK and the pop world is a better place for it. Her new track, Perfect Illusion, is giving us serious 80s vibes from our leg warmers all the way up to our padded shoulders.

Here's the tune. Brace yourself.

Gaga joined Nick Grimshaw on the Radio 1 Breakfast show this morning and that's no big deal. Just one of the biggest pop stars in the world hanging out in our studios. We're totally cool with that.

Here's everything we learned about Lady Gaga in 90 hilarious minutes of radio.

1. She agrees with Nick, Perfect Illusion is "the biggest change in her career"

2. She wasn't 100% sober when she came in. She started the day with a glass of champagne to celebrate the release of Perfect Illusion.

3. She was operating on two hours sleep.

4. Releasing the new single, she feels "like a new artist again" and the new album is almost done.

5. She has been trying to add "too many hooks" to the new songs and only stops when makes her.

6. Perfect Illusion isn't just about a relationship, it's about all the fake things around us in life - such as what we see on social media. "How do we decipher what's real?" She asks.

7. Mark Ronson played a demo of Perfect Illusion to Nick Grimshaw at Glastonbury in June of this year - much to Gaga's annoyance. "He's in trouble," she says.

8. There is a duet with on the new album (!!!!). Gaga says "She is one of the most amazing vocalists in the world."

9. She worked with Mark Ronson, and Kevin Parker from on her new album and describes them as "foolishly amazing at what they do."

10. She wasn't sure she was nailing it as a co-host when Nick told her she needed to do some 'real' radio work. "Am I doing a bad job?" she asked.

11. She says very few musicians have said 'no' to working with her but adds that during her career she hasn't really done many big name collaborations.

12. She cried all day during her first studio session with Mark Ronson. "You know what men are like with women crying..." she says.

13. That mouth will get her in trouble. She dropped a swear live on the 91热爆. "I apologise to the listeners. I have a potty mouth."

14. She was always late to sessions with Mark because she was so busy marinating chicken and making pasta.

15. Also, on a food note, she does her own washing up. She did the dishes every evening while she was recording the album.

16. She made the studio smell good with her peppermint tea. It was to help with her hay fever - but possibly also because the 91热爆 canteen doesn't serve champagne (before 9am).

17. Don't mention the meat dress. "I feel like that's so 2008 or whatever," she says. It was 2010 but who's counting.

18. She did, however, float the idea of a tomato dress instead.

19. She owns an archive in California ("A huge vault") with all her outfits and stage costumes from her career. She has never visited it because she is worried it will feel like a funeral. It would be the most fabulous funeral EVER.

20. Her advice to anyone who needs to dance in heels? "Grip the floor with your feet like a bird on a perch."

21. She nearly missed a link with Nick because she was having a smoke (she likes clove cigars) in the 91热爆 loading bay. We can't cope with the glamour.

22. She knows it's a bad habit, and so do her famous friends. "I've been yelled at by , and . I get anxiety sometimes. I need time alone."

23. She has a title and a release date for the album and while she wouldn't reveal either, she did confirm that it would be out before Christmas 2016.

24. She filmed the new series of American Horror Story in between studio sessions with Mark Ronson and describes her next character as "grounded" but adds that "might seem ridiculous when you see who she is."

25. After her promo for Perfect Illusion is finished, she's off for a "walk around London" - LIKE A NORMAL HUMAN.

26. Her dad fell asleep listening to one of the songs from her new album. Which isn't the greatest sign, but he was jatlagged, so Mr. G is excused.
