Rumble In The Jumble

We held a jumble sale to raise funds for our school trip to York on the windy night of Thursday 21st February. 26 people (that is just under 50% of Fetlar's population) came & many more sent jumble or donations.
In total we raised over 拢370 through the jumble sale, homebakes & raffle. We also received a donation of over 拢130 towards something nice on our trip.

Good for you!! # Sounds like a BIG and FUN trip to York. When are you going? Are the adults finding excuses to accompany you to the big Cathedral city? # Out of curiosity, when is the last week of the academic year (in June? July?)

I took the girls to Jorvik in York a couple of days ago. Well worth the visit, although no torching of boats took place. Take pocket money though, as you can buy things like freshly minted viking coins on your way around the site.
