Are you sure it's a lamb and not a French Poodle?

As long as it's not a French lamb....they're usually done to a crisp.

Nice pictures. Lots of sheep and lambs, what an island for a Norwegian sheepfarmer( a bit teacher too). I think it's great that your school has a blog. I like reading about you.

Great photos, Fetlar. I also looked through the Gallery to see all the other photos. A really good collection. Interesting to see that your lambing is well behind Orkney (TTGMITN was up every night a few weeks ago). Just goes to show how different the climate is.

I think it depends on whether you are lambing indoors or out, Jill. There were lambs outside in Shetland at the end of April which I presumed were inby lambs put out on a fine day.

I saw the show today on bbc TV and instantly was drawn to Fetlar. It reminded me of a small town I lived in for 7 years in Alaska. What is the temperature in the winter there? What are the costs to travel to Fetlar from London?
