Eh Nic, only ONE wisdom tooth? Good it went smoothly. My, my, you must be a (black, I should hope) choco addict. Don't tell me you put nutella in your baguette (yummy, by the way)?

I am surprised it took you all evening to "test" Pipers Gold...

you did much better than me, Nic ... I had three removed in a dentists chair, and was left to almost faint in Boots while waiting for my painkillers ... happily never again ...!

Would that all teeth were as wise.

Wow, what a procedure! Good thing that they take good care of you, Nic. Is this SOP for wisdom teeth in the UK?
Barney from Swithiod holding hands
Have I been on another planet or are you getting like buses Nic? My bipeds have once more been dumped from a dentist-who-is-no-longer-here's list. That's three times now and counting...

mjc, Pipers has a funny effect on my memory - I forget things. Barney, if SOP is standard operating procedure then no, it isn't. Nice Mr Price who comes to Coll with the mobile dentist van declined to remove it because it had broken and there was hardly anything to grab hold of, and if it had broke he would have been stuck without the rest of his dentist's tool kit. Most people in the hospital were due to have general anaesthetics and looked far more nervous than I was.
Nic from not on Coll
Hi FC, I don't understand your comment at all. Sorry. I don't understand dentists either. Why do they need to move so often, is there a dentist transfer market we are unaware of? Moving to Coll has given me security of dentistry, it is the longest I have seen the same person.
Nic from not on Coll
I just meant that any tooth which gives up and come out without a fight must, per se, be wise. Feeble attempt at humour "Mea Culpa."
Hyper-Borean from The chair
Hyper-B., clearly yours is a MAXIMA culpa, not the ordinary variety. # You should take better care of your teeth, Nic, and avoid Guga jerky (I like Teriyaki flavored best): I never heard of anyone having disintegrating wisdom teeth before. Is it the fashion on the islands?

I just seemed that two or three blogs came along at once...
Flying Cat from optometrically yours
FC, it's just the effect of all that dark chocolate Nic has been devouring.

Oh well, Nic, just as you were hitting your stride. Iblogging will be no more. How will we get the updates on the road work or the international airport in Coll? May you win all prizes at next year's ag. show, old gal. Stagger your plantings so that something wonderful is ripe for the picking around the time of the show.
mjc from IN, US A
I'm fairly sure they do stagger in Coll, but not necessarily plantings...
