Harviestoun Bitter & Twisted is very refreshing beer, easily drunk [are'nt they all] and it's Scottish !!

What about the Skye Brewery or the Shetland stuff? I did post a comment about cheaper Fyne t-shirts, but maybe that got censored... And oh, Vital Spark. Pretty please.

If I was 18 again I would say Theakston's Old Peculiar. Me & my chums spent a few sunday afternoons drinking that treacle-y beer in our youth in the Ship Inn in downtown Broughty Ferry, It didn't half make you loose your balance. My sensible head now says Deuchars IPA at 3.8% you can afford to have a few pints without feeling crap in the morning. It has to be said that a I managed 4 pints of Hoegaarden whilst watching England play Sweden there, so a nice weiss beer would worth considering as well.

Good grief Duncan from Livvy, I had despaired of the literacy of people in the New World having witnessed so many professionals using loose instead of lose. Now I see it used by Scots. Whatever happened to the "Best education in the world?"

Where did you hear the half marathon had been cancelled? The race organiser didn't know anything about it, so it sounds unlikely.
