I know! Ooooh the excitement! Sunday papers in the morning! More than one ferry to Clonaig a day! And... AND... a early morning boat AND a 19.40 sailing at night AND the late boat on a Friday!!!! Only two weeks. Ah I love the spring! http://www.calmac.co.uk/currentoffers.html

Is the any beach football being run again this year ? Spectated at it last year and had a great time.
Guilbert from England
Beach football is on. I think it will be Sat 29th July, the day after the Fishing dance! Hangovers compulsory. There's also the golf competitions, anyone bringing their own mower is especially welcome.
Nic from Coll
Spring has been cancelled in Harris this year due to lack of interest. Summer will be held indoors at Rodil if wet. Is this the sort of climatic info you're looking for?

Nic, thank you for posting Coll's Summer Programme. I have been searching on the Coll websites but found nothing. You see there is little going on at work and I was entering important dates into my Outlook calendar- Coll Half Marathon and Show fall into that category. I'm coming for a visit on the first May Bank Holiday weekend- looking forward to it a great deal. Can you guarantee sun, or at the very least a Tennents?
Graeme, yes, that one from Now in Epsom
Hello Graeme from Epsom, this is Simon from Egypt - fancy meeting you here! Goodness it could almost be a blind date. Nic, thanks for all your blogs, so good for keeping up on everything. And when you're next pouring Stef a pint of Star, ask him if he ever got his frankincense. Enjoy your trip back Graeme, and don't drink too many cups of T.

Spring? I guess that was those few sunny days at the end of last week when I climbed Ben Feall in a t-shirt (yes I did). Paddled on Feall and Toraston as well, and say sunrise twice on Struan. Maybe I should come over more often; the weather's usually great when I'm there. Missed seeing you though Nic.
