Locations and Stages
Having set up a new event, you will need to declare its Location and then add Stages.
Before You Start
Go to Eavis () and select the Event you want to work on. If you do not have access, contact R&M.Support@bbc.co.uk.
You Will Need
A new Event or an existing Event in Eavis. .
Quick Guide
- Add Location - Navigate to the Locations & Stages tab, select a location from the pull-down menu and click the green Add button.
- Add Stages - If you are working on an existing Event, then it may already have a default stage. If so, click the green Add default stage button. If you are adding a new stage then write the name of the stage (e.g. Main Stage) in the blank Stage name field and click the green Add button. Your stage will now appear as a blue link under the Location.
- Edit Stage Information - Click on the blue stage name link. On the following page, you can enter a Short Description and Long Description in the blank fields. If you create a Collection in iBroadcast 2 that contains videos from this Stage then enter the Collection PID in the Video Collection PID field.
When you're ready for this page to be publicly viewable, click the blue Stage Has No Page slider and it will change to read Stage Has Page.
Optional Functions
- Add New Location - If your location isn't listed or it hasn't been added to Eavis yet click the blue Location management link. On the following page scroll down to the bottom of the locations list, type your new location into the blank Location name field and click the green Add button.
