Each week Ali and the Teesside Junior Football Alliance give a pat on the back to a team that's achieved something special. May 14 Winner - Kev Fryett, Club Secretary of Teesside Athletic FC.As it's the final award, how better to celebrate that than with the outstanding achievements of one individual, and what an individual! The work to free time ratio is quite unbelievable! Here we go: Community Outreach Programme - Providing 98 hours of football/sports coaching in the community, providing 14 FA qualified coaches and eight All Sport coaches. This programme engages with the following: Local Education Authority - Schools partnership with 11 Primary Schools, helping them to achieve FA Charter Standard status. Primary Care Trust - Providing a coaching programme for youngsters with weight problems, a Saturday morning Club with a healthy living message and providing football for youngsters engaging them and their families in healthy activities. Redcar & Cleveland Community Safety Partnership - Providing coaching and development activities (estate based football/coaching) in priority areas. Involving youngsters who are in danger of becoming attracted to anti social behaviour activities, providing "turn up and play" community festivals on local estates. Equality Programme - He provides coaching for youngsters with learning difficulties, disabled or special needs. Education to Employment (E-2-E) - He is presently working with Pertemps with 26 young adults not currently in employment or education. Sports Festivals - He is organising 17 Sports Festivals for 2009 including the following: four Disability Festivals, one Football for the Deaf Festival, nine Schools Festivals and three Girls Football Festivals. In addition to all of the above, he is the Club Secretary of Teesside Athletic FC which takes up loads more of his time as he strives to continually develop the Club in Redcar. His Club now have youngsters from the age of three through to open age football involving both male and female participants. The Club caters for well over 400 members and they have 14 Teams competing in the TJFA. As a Club they have been quite successful this season winning League Honours and they are represented with two Teams on Cup Final Day this Sunday.
