March 5 Winner - South Park RangersSouth Park Rangers Under 11's played hosts to Billingham Town in the Quarter Final of the TJFA Challenge Cup. South Park Rangers are a strong fourth division outfit but were meeting a team three divisions higher who are very capable first division opposition currently holding a mid-table position in the top flight. SPR went two goals down within the first twenty minutes or so, but they managed to pull a goal back just before half time and deservedly equalised in the second half to take the QF Cup tie into extra time. However there was no living with the fourth division outfit in the 20 minute extra time period and they managed to bang in another three goals to take their place in the TJFA Challenge Cup semi final, where they will now meet (and try and overcome) Redcar Town "A" to hopefully secure their place in the Under 11 Finals at Rockliffe Park, Hurworth in May.

N&S Ancients currently lie third in the second division and Stockton Town (who have lost just the one match this season - before last Sunday) are in second place in the top flight. It is extremely rare for a team outside of the top flight to achieve a place in the TJFA League Cup Final but Norton & Stockton have done just that.
Help playing audio/video March 19 Winner - Seaton Carew Under 12Seaton Carew Under 12 play in the second division and are currently lying fourth. They were drawn to play the semi-final of the TJFA League Cup at home to Boro鈥 Rangers last Sunday and what a magnificent game it turned out to be! After a thrilling game they came out on top winning with a result of 4-3. Seaton Carew proved that they are also a very capable side by earning their place in the League Cup Final at Rockliffe Park on Sunday 17 May with a magnificent performance in this semi-final. Paul Malcolmson, Seaton鈥檚 manager, has been with the team for just under three years. Just over three years ago this Seaton team also got to the finals at Rockliffe Park when they were Under 9. At the time the current manager was a parent and he watched as his son and his son鈥檚 team mates lost the final that day. Strangely enough it was against exactly the same opponents as they will meet in this seasons鈥 final (St. Francis 2000 鈥淎鈥). A local derby of tremendous interest as the battle for the prestigious League Cup looms. Seaton say they have a 鈥減oint to prove鈥! March 26 Winner - Keith Sykes, Marton FCIn 1982, Keith's son attended a local comprehensive school which was classed at the time as a "rugby only" school. So, he decided to set up a team for Gary (his son) and a few of his school mates to play football on a Sunday at Marton Cricket Club. Enthusiasm then took over as the one small team had big ambitions and it simply became a "labour of love" for him. Over the past 27 years he has devoted time, effort and passion to the Club and he has been the Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer throughout his reign. He spends an immense amount of time at Hall Drive in Acklam, cutting, rolling and spiking the grass to ensure some of the best possible playing surfaces for the Teams, both for training nights and match days. He offered the opportunity for football for a 9 years old Stewart Downing, a young Matthew Bates and David Wheater also played there. Jonathan Woodgate wore the white shirt of Marton FC along with Wigan's Michael Brown. Doncaster's Graeme Lee and Reading's Graham Murty are just some of a small selection of the current players within the game, but countless more simply enjoyed competing for Marton Football Club. He can boast current international footballers who were given their opportunity through his dedication and passion for the game.
