~ Storms of Mull ~

Gales appear to be
Never ending
As one does battle
To walk outdoors.

Rain lashing
In combination
The bullies of elements
Strike at will.

Only those who have need
Dare leave the safety of home
Wrapped in coats & capes
Hats secured under chin.

Harshness of the isles
It man seem to those
Who visit - brief indeed.

Leaves sodden underfoot
Flooding on roads
Unable to cope
Fools are those
Whose haste
Blinkered of car
Splash the poor soul
Who has to walk outdoors.

Did you make Kirra go out in the wind and rain?

Jill from EK

Kirra enjoys the outdoors - whatever the weather - although I have ordered a wax coat for her - given the amount of rain we have had.

Why do you think it is I.P, that car drivers seem to swerve to go through the biggest, dirtiest puddle they can find, just as you just happen to be passing it? The sea must have been wicked to look at.

Cathy from Kilmarnock

Cathy - one day the puddle shall be a large hole - in waiting. The sea does indeed show its might on such days.
