A blog like this needs a considered, well-turned response. Let me see. First, thank you for the shipping warning but I suppose that your garment will have ended up in Argentina by the time we sight Coll. Your description of a hot, leisurely day on Coll is delightful and fills me with anticipation. The machair, the white sands and the blue sea and sky ... "a jug of wine And thou, beside me in the wilderness ..." . And you photographs, as always delicious. Finally I was particularly glad to see Mr. Hare again. Thank you for a beautiful blog, Squidgy.
Barney from Swithiod all agog
Thank you everyone for your comments. Wild Freckle - how wonderful your trip sounds, wishing I was coming with you. The Young Laird from England, some days I just wake up feeling cheeky, and darlin, I live on the edge, not over it. Flying Cat you have me worried there, three paps, well maybe I can squeeze another one in. Scallowawife, thank you for alerting the coastguards, and Jill, you found the word I was looking for.... busted !!!
Squidgy the Otter from feeling very reandom indeed
Thanks for keeping us abreast with news of latest marine hazard off Coll

To all my bosum buddies in this virtual world of island blogging, you are the next breast thing to real live friends, and so I dedicate the following few words to you all. "Good friends are like good Bra's, they are hard to find, comfortable, supportive, never let you know down, will always lift you up, never leave you hanging, and are always close to your heart. xxx PS latest NEWSFLASH appeared in local press "Float away bra has been found by passing trawler who utilised it as A-net (tee hee). The trawler captain reports, "This is their biggest catch this year"

Thistle-blower, what a delightful play on words, welcome to the world of island blogging and your first, very kind comments on my blog. I am sure you will come to realise that my blogs are often very tongue in cheek, and hopefully, not political in any way, I like to leave politics to the island politicians,. So welcome again, Thistle blower, and I hope you will soon build up confidence to write your own blogs, I will look forward to reading them. Best wishes.
Squidgy the Otter from Welcoming a new Coll Blogger
