Happy New Year to you too. Is it Norway? It's very like the western part of Norway, the sea and the snowcovered mountains.

Hi there, OG, hope you're doin fine over there in Luing. How's your english coming on? I'm learning Norwegian, but it's a VERY slow process. Hope you're enjoying life in the UK.

I tried the link OG, but got nowhere. I tried googling various combinations but still no joy. Are you sure it's right?

OG, don't worry, a Scottish accent will be a nice touch, I think. All the norskis speak with American accents, which I have to admit takes a bit of getting used to. And your english is very good.

Photos from your back garden ... Oooh I am jealous! How lucky you are, OG.

I blame VOA (Voice of America, the international radio station for the hard of concentration) for...well...everything really... That pampas grass in the bottom photo is very like one I couldn't get to grow here because it is autumn flowering and we don't have autumn here in Orkney. You must have a gentler climate down there.

A Luing scottish accent should suit you just fine, OG. It comes in particularly handy if and when you get yourself a Border Collie, and realize you have misplaced your whistle.
