our mouths' are watering--send some over please!
5 cat gang from food for thought
Keep them away from the cats! Keep me away from the cats too, you know I have an adversion. They so cute, what is it that makes new life adroable (except for maggots, maggots aren't cute)
Salty from Dublin
Does writing about the above make this chick-lit?
Flying Cat from Someone-or-other's Diary
Now behave, there'll be no horrible things done to the little chicks. HL, let us know how the other broody hens get on.
Carol from IBHQ
carol @ibhq:no??
5 cat gang from dreaming of chicken suppers
If you ever run out of recipes for chicken, let me know Hermit. # Hope they survive, one and all ... the whole of their alloted time (yes, yes, the reasoning is rather circular). They should be safe, at least from Flying Cat (phobia of open waters, it seems).
mjc from NM,USA
mjc:- "phobia of open waters" fc?? u must be kidding!!!

I'll do the stuffing HL, and peel some spuds and carrots if you send me one of those lovely plump chickens ( preferably skinnned, and oven ready) Cheery..
Tws from The kitchen
I don't like getting my dainty paws wet...but on the other paw, it might be worth it...
Flying Cat from islandhopping
Hermit we have a chicken whose hatched a duckling they do seem to look funny walking round the place I doubt if the duck will get a swimming lesson from the chicken though
Barebraes from Shapinsay
That's a funny one, Barebraes. I assume you had the hen hatch both chickens and that duck: how many days longer did it take for the duckling to hatch?
mjc from NM,USA
You are awfully quiet, Hermit. Let us hear from you!!
mjc from NM,USA
I hope you're just making the most of the lovely weather and having a busy summer getting sheepskins ready for the shows, Hermit. Maybe someone will pluck up the courage to say 'hullo' this time...
Flying Cat from looking forward to the shows
Are you showing any of your poultry at the Sanday Show this year? For the first time ever there is a class for geese!
Gandalf's keeper from Sanday
