Ooohhh, You're very fit for a woman of your age HL.
Tws from The Croft Lewis
Definitely fank material. Donald likes the dance of the seven harris Tweed Veils.
calum from Lewis
Have you been to the Arran Hafla? The Arran Belly Dancers hold it every year at the Kinloch around Easter time. They get dancers from all over the world and run workshops in Everything from Egyptian to Tribal. I will of course be joining a new group due to the move but I started with the Arran troupe and loved it!
Sunny from Shimmy!
Northern Isles Nights, and all that. The surprises (and attractions) IB and the Scottish islands hold!! But, wait Hermit, I don't spy anything Viking or potentially disastrous for arms control in that Scheherazade outfit (the decorations in the room are something else!).
mjc from NM,USA
Tws is right (ouch that was painful!) Hermit - about the fit bit not the age bit (which was quite ungentlemanly but what can you expect) - I've been asked to pass on "ooohs" & "aaahs", whatever they are, of the direst envy.
Flying Cat from soothin a fevered broo or two
we just wear old jeans and a jangly scarf, and sometimes take ages to take off our wooly jumpers....we ought to be ashamed of ourselves! and non of us in the class bare our bellies! mine is far faaaar too big to let out. (but all that will change with diet and exercise.) I love the green outfit Hermit, its gorgeous. Perhaps a skin tone corset underneath....
scallowawife from belly dancers R us...
A bit thin after the winter, eh?
Tired Father from PotbellyDeli
Hermit I'd be Hubba-Hubba-ing right now if I didn't think Missus Salty would have me ears off :)
Salty from On his knees trying to get his tounge back in
ignore tws,you look great,well done!

Thanks Carol :-D Sunny, I haven`t been there, in fact so far as I can tell, it`s only me here doing the dancing, can`t find anyone else to do it with. :-( I`ve seen the most amazing Gothic bellydancers on Youtube though and am half minded to have a go at one of those costumes. Scallowawife, dinnae worry aboot the belly (and I bet it`s no` as big as ye think!) for I was told, I`m not curvy enough to be a decent bellydancer. :-( Bellydancers are supposed to have bellies! Am really pleased folks like the outfits tho, am now working on a gold and brown one. :-)
Hermit from The Harem
If Donald likes the dance of the seven Harris tweed veils, and the sheep oot west wear tweedie squares over their bits, does that mean Donald likes sheep? I wouldn't be surprised if he did...
Flying Cat from just wondering
Salty was hibhubbing about your outfits missus! you look fabulous, i absolutely adore the green one, it is amazing with your colouring. well done!
GerCelt from Dublin Ireland

scallowawife from in front of the mirror
scallowawife!!!!!!!
Flying Cat from enough's as good as a feast
don't you dare, scallowawife one moo is enough!!
carol from over here
No, FC, it means he likes sheep belly-dancing with HT squares prior to revealing all. Not all sheep can do that, even on Harris. Hermit Life, you got my vote for hottest Easter blog on IB. Ta.
Barney from Swithiod with a correction
For goodness sake Barney take a cold dip or harm could come to a growing boy!
Flying Cat from armchair&baffies
Without in any way disparaging HL's blog the competition was not so "hot". But maybe I will follow your advice on this now delighfully sunny afternoon and wander down to the bastu on the pier (560 m long) and after a nice long stewing take a sweaty plunge or two into the ice-strewn 脰resund. Very enjoyable for humans but perhaps less so for furry felines. Thank you for a Good Idea.
Barney from Swithiod the heart of the matter
Awesome...
