I think your hens are awfully clever HL, they have lined up in order of size. Did they see Chicken Run? {They're probably too young to have been in it.}
Flying Cat from a sunny day, sunny day, sunny day...
glad you has a suuny weekend! saturday here was dull and damp! sat night 7p.m violent thunderstorm,heavy rain,gail force winds ended at 4a.m for someone like who is petrified by storms,i managed for once to stay calm--and NO !!man with magic fingertips wasn't even within a 100kms from me ,so i was very good! tomorrow we are to have a repeat performence,so i think i will go and join him for a couple of days!

Fpu has a strange liking for thunder storms which I don't share. How do 5catgang cope with all the banging and flashing? You certainly have interesting weather...
Flying Cat from under a duvet
Lovely pics as usual, Hermit. I used to enjoy thunderstorms until a neighbour's house got hit by lightening. Now I'm a wee bit more wary of 'em. lol! (Lightening that is, not the neighbours!)
Ellie from dull'n'drizzly
this is pretty normal weather for end of september----its what they call over here "les grands mar茅es" l'equinox,i think in english! 5 cat gang don't seem to bother ,as i close all the shutters they dont see the lightning(me neither!) oor wullie does not appreciate it(probably senses my fear!)
carol from where its dulling down again
Bonny? It was gorgeous. Our best summer day since May & the 3 days in August: sun, nae wind & nae midgies.

Confused, aye, it has its sandy bits but chust try digging the gairden...it`s a` rock, trust me...
Hermit from Sanday
Surely the sand must lie on something?

we had a beautiful day here on Lewis as well, a beautiful few days in fact which was very unexpected as i heard all the old locals grumbling about how winter had set in now, but then thats what they always say as soon as we have a bit of wind and rain. Do your chickens sit and stare at you through the window like cats do??
tanith from lewis
tanith really! No cat would be so rude! Honest...
