Ah David Bowie and his Starman, who is still waiting in the sky. Did we really only have 5 years? Can Ziggy still play guitar? Is everything Hunky Dory? Was Bowie Alad Insane? God knows I'm good! I'm the same as yourself madame Hermit, a keen early david bowie fan, although I did still like Young Americans, and one or two of his later efforts, but the early years were the best. You are getting better with that Bow. Practice makes perfect?

I had a Bowie haircut, and got sent home from school, although I don't think that had anything to do with the hairstyle. I got sent home that often, therefore it's difficult to remember why. That is why I was off school the day they did that, quite a lot.

Amazing how out of synch. I can be with the world. When I hear: bowie, I automatically think of the Bowie knife, or the Arkansas toothpick. You should try the toothpick, Hermit. Send pics.
