Flying Cat from under a duvet
hermit-she's lovely-she's a long haired version of my mollie, give her time and gradually she'll become tame
carol from with sore ankle, after crash
He's a lovely lad and it's so funny that he's keen on lookin' in but not so much on coming in. He has a knowing way about him for sure.
Vera from www.veranadine.com
He looks like a Maine Coon cat to me - it is a specific very furry breed.

Nice view from your window. Had not been for the mist, perhaps you can see Norway.( If the direction is east)
Dag from Norway
Oh well, if he hunts mice and stays in the barn, he'll just a fine cat. A useful cat which knows its place in the world is alright by me. Hopefully he's bright enough to know when to come closer to you for inspection and help if and when needed.

He's a fine looking cat, though couldn't find him right away,(it helped to scroll down!). If he's catching mice for you, at least he earns his keep. Your spinning wheel is just like my mum's! (you must have an antique - cause I'm no young thing!)

Boy I'm slow today. Just found your blog on the spinning wheel! Anyway before I go off and forget - I do think you should seriously consider writing short-stories for publication, or do you already? You really have a talent.

He's beautiful, Hermit, and looks like one of the two brothers (neighbour's cats) who visit us, although our one is a massive cat, almost too heavy to pick up. Perhaps he will become more friendly with time as he comes to trust you, they often do. Maybe the sight of those nice soft sheepskins will tempt him in!

Hmmmmm..."a useful cat which knows its place in the world..." And where might that be I wonder....
Flying Cat from ever such a hard stare
Right, Cat Deely, looks like a Maine Coon from a distance. 'course I am not certain: I usually studiously avoid c.a.t.s!! About those rapiers: no wonder the cat keeps its distance. # By the way Hermit, how come I don't see a brace of maces in your collection by the window/against the wall (photo 1)? For self-defence of course, using only traditional weaponry.
mjc from NM
Well, I do hae a morningstar mjc...:-D The weapons are kinda scattered aboot the hoose, in the odd corner or twa, aside frae the crossbows which are kept safely on the walls.
Hermit from The Armoury
Heavens above: I certainly am not going into Hermit's house without forewarning her and getting permission. Pity the poor burglar ...
