The first picture I saw of litttle Elspeth was definitely like looking at one of your baby photos. Now I do start to see Erlend in her, too. You guys make pretty babies. :-) All 3 of you look fantastic! I'm glad all is going well or getting there, and that you and Aunt D had a good visit. *HUGEMONGOUS HUGS* I miss you, my Sister. Love to all 3 of you!

I have a maternal cog missing and struggle to be more than vaguely polite about new babies, but there really is something in a new father's eye. They look goofy for a month and never properly recover. Congratulations and I promise I'll be more enthusiastic when she is eight.

Nic, the address (for when you write to ask for the 8 year anniversary photo) will hopefully still be: Little Owl, Dounby, Orkney.

Sorry, but I had to stop just to say that your daughter is just the cutest thing ever!! Look at her dressed in that cow outfit! It's so adorable! She's really cute, congratulations! I hope one day I can have a baby too. God bless you ^^

such a lovely baby! one idea: a crying baby with colic usually tones down when baby is rocked and patted with her head on momma's shoulder. the steady, heart beat style bacl patting seems to help and rocking in a rocking chair helps both mom and baby relax. Colic will end...it just feels like it never will. courage and prayers always.

That was one of our favourite stories from Dr Seuss. Probably because it was so strongly against discrimination and war without ramming it down one's neck. Are you moving over to WordCupboard Moo?
