Here is my musical ode to the Tattie Submarine (you know the tune...) In the towwwn Where it was born Grew a tattie With lumps and horns- It was dug By Dear Erland And presented to His wife/best friend! On their farm of coo and sheep They searched for a matching neep- But alas, they could not find Another tuber Of that kind They all lived with their Tattie Submarine, Not-so-brown-or-green Tattie Submarine No potato salad for this Tattie Submarine Tattie Submarine Tattie Submarine!

Nah, really, FC? It was adorning the entry door to Tam's bookstore. I appropriated it when he popped over to the Red Cross building. No, he can't have it back. There is a rumor that Tam is really American: is that so? What heinous crime did he commit which necessitated his removal to the Stromness metropolis? # As to Bound4Orkney, my hunch that we have another scribe on the way to your shores was correct. Little did I envision that THERE was competition to Gilbert and Sullivan, not to mention Flanders and Swann. I also wonder: are we to be treated to more clanging of wedding bells?
