Lovely sunset, what a difference a few miles make. I know the climate is different now but those ancient guys knew how to pick thier sites.

Rats and double rats! Because it was dull and grey in Stromness, parental units opened a bottle of red instead of going off in search of a solstice sunset....what a waste....

A special place. I have read about the place. Hope to visit it soon. Beautiful pictures, Michelle.

Beautiful day there! When we were there last year during the folk festival, we had mostly mist and rain. It is an awe-inspiring place and the knowledge that you are treading where others trod several thousand years ago is quite humbling.
