Lambing season is creeping up on us...

We are going to a lambing course in toon on the 8th. Elsie-yow is fit to burst: she's so fat with lambs that she can't get into any comfortable position. She's going to lamb several weeks ahead of the rest of the flock so we have her in a lambing pen with lots of extra water and also grain + sugar beet.

Sigurd and Swain - the twa caddie lambs Erlend bought me for Easter last year. They are MUCH bigger now. But I couldn't resist posting lamb pics!

The lambs got loose one day and came looking for me in the hoose!

King Tut loves to play with any living creature.

I couldn't resist tossing in a hedge hog photo! (It was in the same file as the lamb photos)

Ah, spring lamb in France, beautiful and very tasty. It reminds me of when I worked in Provence; for a year actually!

Lerwick Trevor from Lerwick

lerwick trevor, how can anyone in their right mind work in provence-its just for tourists-widely over-rated=highly overpriced!!

carol from france

Me thinks that Lerwick Trevor, has been reading books and/or watching DVD's/videos. I could be wrong...

"A Year in Provence" perhaps?

Michellechoza from Mainland Orkney

If Lerwick Trevor says he worked in Provence for a year, I shall take it as stipulated. No reason to think otherwise. # I must admit that I do not think French lamb is special. I am partial to NZ lamb myself.

Aww.. Caddie lambs are so cute! We looked after one for a week last year! They are so much fun!
