Oh well, there is "whitesettler" from varying hideouts, now we have "White Horse of the Wind" (somehow does not sound quite like a name you'd find on the Rez) from Mainland Orkney: may we have some other color, pleeeze? (I feel awfully tempted to sign this: mjc in the White Fog, but I SHALL RESIST!).

What rez are we speaking of mjc in the White Fog? A New Mexican rez? That's rather farm from where I hail. I don't hail from a rez though. I come from a village. What kind of names *do* you have on the rez's near your neck of the woods? I suppose you could ask my Crow (not from New Mexico) relative why he named me White Horse of the Wind and not Pink Horse of the Sunset or Dances With Donkeys. Maybe I could have been She Who Runs Around The Fields Chasing Crazy Sheep? Yeah...that's rather fitting!! Sometimes I kill myself with my cleverness.

The big rez refers to the Four Corners (i.e. incl. AZ, CO, UT and NM) one, inhabited by Navajos and Hopis.
