Caught up in the creel of life.....and the new age of Trust

Just manage my escape after being trapped in the crab creel of life by Gylen Castle for....well yes it has been a couple of years.....but to take away IB......this crab doth protest! That is uncalled for!

Anyway I will endeavour to clatter out a few posts before this great institution is mothballed....

Kerrera took a great step this evening and voted its new development trust into being.....still awaiting charitable status before the final incorporation....but first Directors are in place......so its goodye to IKRA.....the Isle of Kerrera Residents association and hello IKDT the Isle of Kerrera Development Trust..... http://www.ikdt.co.uk/

and our met mast (for the initial stage of installing our very own small-scale community turbines) is sitting in the barn waiting to go up before Christmas Hurrah!

after escaping temporarily from the creel of life and crawling up the honeycomb rocks, it was reassuring to see that Gylen Castle was still there in the distance.....Not everything has been taken away then!

Hello, My Grandad (Ian), Dad (Neil) and Uncle (Hugh) all lived and grew up on Kerrera. I spent many summer holidays as a child there - I remember it rained a lot! There was a lad called Ian Rimmer who lived on the island, who I used to play with when I was there in summer. Does he still live on the island?
