Interact With Our Audience
With SocialFlow’s listen page, you can view and respond to interaction with your social account.
Before You Start
Go to the Listen page and choose the relevant social media account from those available on the left.
Interacting on Facebook
- View Comments - Click the speech bubble icon underneath a post to see audience comments.
- Expand The List - By default SocialFlow will show you the first two comments. Click view previous comments to see more interaction.
- Like Comments - Click the like button underneath a comment to like it.
- Reply - Click the speech bubble icon underneath a comment to add a comment of your own.
- Delete - To delete a comment - in line with your account/network’s editorial policy - click on the x icon underneath a post.
- Collapse Comments - To collapse the list of comments again, click on the x icon at the top, underneath the post itself.
Interacting On Twitter
- Like Tweets - Click on the heart icon to like another user’s tweet.
- Retweet - Click on the retweet icon (the middle of the three options beneath a post) to bring up options for sharing a post on your Twitter feed.
- Reply - Click on the reply arrow icon to send a direct response to a tweet. You can include images, using the camera button, if you wish.
- Send Direct Messages - Select direct messages as a new column type (see below). As this is a new feature it is only available for certain networks. Please email R&M Support if you feel it would be useful to have access.
Adding And Removing Columns
- Add Column - In the blank create a new column on the far-right hand side, select an account (if you're using a custom view) and a column type. Your new column will appear on the furthest left hand side of the screen.
- Remove Column - Click on the gear icon in the top-right hand corner of the column, and choose remove.
- Move Column - You can click and drag the grey heading area of a column to re-arrange it within your listen window.
Twitter Search Operators
Enter - To Search For
- Ken Bruce - the words Ken and Bruce in any order.
- “Ken Bruce” - Ken Bruce exactly as it appears.
- Ken OR Bruce - Ken or Bruce or both.
- Ken -Bruce - Ken, but not Bruce.
- #KenBruce - The hashtag #KenBruce.
- From:RealKenBruce - Tweets sent by @RealKenBruce.
- To: RealKenBruce - Tweets sent to RealKenBruce.
- @RealKenBruce - Tweets that are either sent by or mention @RealKenBruce
- Near:London - Tweets sent near the city of London.
- Near:”London” within:15mi - Tweets sent within 15 miles of London.
- Since:2015-01-09 - Tweets published after 9th January 2015 (yyyy/mm/dd).
- Until:2014-03-15 - Tweets published before 15th March 2014.
- Lang:en - English language tweets.
- Filter:links - Tweets which contain a link.
- -filter:links - Tweets which do not contain a link.
- -RT - Tweets which are not retweets.
- “Radio 2” ? - The exact phrase Radio 2 and a question.

How do I follow someone on Twitter?
You can’t via SocialFlow but you can like listeners’ tweets via the Listen page.
