Eyes peeled!

Hopefully by the end of this week you should start to see our new posters and postcards popping up all over the place. Keep an eye out for them in colleges, libraries, airports and on ferries. Do let me know if you spot them!

If there鈥檚 an A3 sized gap on a wall in your community that could accommodate a poster please email me at islandblogging@bbc.co.uk and I鈥檒l happily send one out to you.

Hi Carol, you can see it in a previous post here - http://www.bbc.co.uk/scotland/islandblogging/ibhq/0000008627.shtml

Anne from IBHQ

Anne, far be it for me to tell you how to perform your duties ( you know by that last statement that I'm about to do just that though don't you? ) but, ( Oh, look there's even a but, the deadliest of words in the English language, ) why not just say go to my Stick'em up post, accessable to the right of this post ( although you could easily have left that last bit off, the bit after the first post, what I mean to get accross here is well ) You do a wonderful job and you are very good at it too, well when compared to myself you're fantastic. I promise never to try to do this sort of thing again. It's still raining, and it's dark.

Tws from the croft lewis

Tws - you're quite right, of course. That would have been easier!

Anne from IBHQ

Hermit from Sanday

OK, this is a very small island. (but no where near the smallest) We don't have a college, the library is closed, the airport is still being built and the ferry keeps missing (and there is so much traffic going to Tiree I am 6th wait-listed to get away) so can I have a waterproof poster to put on a fence. Please. Pretty please?

Nic from Coll

I put it, instead, in the main island shop, figuring mair folks will see it as the noticeboard is richt at the door! Looks guid tae. :)

Hermit from Sanday

Nic - Curses! I didn't think of ordering a waterproof version! However, I'd be more than happy to send you a standard one to try it out! ;-) And, thanks very much Hermit!

Anne from IBHQ

All the best re: back operation, whenever it may be. Maybe you should make sure you have fully recuperated before sauntering down under. Spring should not be so bad in your region (a stone's throw from Montpellier, it seems).

mjc from NM,USA
