all well n good but have u got ur card yet?
cardless from marooned on the highlands n islands
If only 'twere that simple oh great arbiter of blogtaste. For the male parental unit, on receiving his card ,found that the sticky stuff fastening it to the explanatory letter had spoiled the very strip whereon he should scrawl his monnicker and, on trying to contact HIAL who have been 'tasked' with running the scheme, found phonelines and emails in meltdown. Being a practising Grumpy Old Man, he got hold of someone at the Wee Pretendy Parliament who leapt into action and forwarded his details...........to HIAL! And, since it seems HIAL are meant to run this thing sans extra admin staff, funnily enough, he is still awaiting a response.
