Great photos, especially as flat landscapes are often hard to capture. All this talk of Orkney is making me want to go there. Please let me know when the hot season is, and when the monsoons arrive.

Hello Graham, nice to see photos from Orkney. I would like to kow how we get photos put in place of the 'local' flag on the column to the right of the island blog (which is highly debatable in our shores at the moment). I have a few Westray photos that might be considered - how should I post these?

Stepehn, The hot season in Orkney is on 3rd August at 2pm. ..or it could be when the wimmen put too much chilli in their clapshot (a local staple dish of tatties and neeps).
