floating away

It,s batten down the hatches time again, time to catch that garden chair before it flies of southward in search of the sun.
The sea is magnifisent, awsome, battering the rocks and the road. Looking out of the window the mainland has dissapeared in the haze, and makes me feel like the island has floated away.
No papers, no voice as there are no boats.
You would think that in this day and age with boats sailing across the Atlantic that they could get one that sails from Ardrossan to Arran.

our ferry didn;t sail today either ... The weather is absolutely magnificent, isn;t it ... in a slightly sort of scarey way ... kind of melodrama mixed with awesome power ... :-)

soaplady from blown to bits here too ...

Hooray! At last, a replacement for Sunny exiled in Spain. I hope there's going to be photographs...

love this weather. arran realy feels like an island. but you can get too much of a good thing. some cold frosty days would be nice. maybe next year we could have a summer. now that would be lovely.

Given the waves crashing against the rocks - the seclusion of the isle has more appeal.
