Jenny EclairJenny Eclair
Jenny Hargreaves became a punk performance poet in the 1980s. According to legend, she acquired the name 'Eclair' while pretending to be French at a Blackpool nightclub.

Excuse the pun, but Eclair is an acquired taste. People either love her or they loathe her. Her strong, aggressive, foul-mouthed, hard-drinking, chain-smoking persona can be too abrasive for some.

Behind this larger-than-life character is a very funny, awesomely skilled stand up comedian. Turning forty has added to new element to her act, but rest assured, she still brazenly fails to act her age.

Jenny Eclair is also (to date) the only female to win the Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival.
