Martin FreemanMartin Freeman
Martin Freeman attended the Central School of Speech and Drama and then appeared in several National Theatre productions after graduating. He appeared in television dramas such as I Just Want To Kiss You, Men Only and World of Pub before public acclaim beckoned with the hugely successful The Office.

Freeman received numerous award nominations for his role as Tim Canterbury, the comedy's likeable romantic hero. He went on to star with World of Pub co-star Peter Serafinowicz as Mike in the sitcom Hardware, for which he won a Golden Rose award in 2004 for Best Actor in a Situation Comedy.

He appeared in the feature films Ali G in Da House and Love Actually and played the Earl of Shaftesbury in 91Èȱ¬ Television series Charles II: The Power and the Passion.

He recently starred in the Kathy Burke-directed Kosher Harry on stage at the Royal Court Theatre. Freeman has just been cast as Ford Prefect in the big-screen version of Douglas Adams Magnum Opus The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
